#the100dayproject | ART JOURNAL DAY 049-068

Now I'm back to sharing my #the100dayproject from last year. Yup... Last year.

I'm trying my best to finish this challenge. I have also participated with this year's #the100dayproject and sad to say I'm a few days behind already. But I still intend to finish.

You can view my art journal entry from Day #001 - #048 here and below are my from Day #049 - #068.

Hopefully, I will be able to post my last set of etries for this project and be able to tick this off my to-finish-projects.

See you soon.
Have an inspiring weekend.

#the100dayproject | ART JOURNAL DAY 001-048

This is my second time of participating in #the100dayproject. Last year, I did 100 days of quotes (here and here). I was thinking of a few projects to try for this; 100 days of Bible verses or coloring or exercise or photography or art journal. And since I joined in the band wagon of art journaling just recently, I though this would be a good way to push myself to get the hang of staying connected with my "artsy self".

At the beginning, I became so intimidated. I was finding it hard to execute doing my art journal pages. Looking at the the art journal pages of others specially those that I follow on Instagram, I get more intimidated & I tend to loose my gana to do this project. I was thinking of quitting & thought "what did I get myself into?". But I didn't stop. Although I'm still searching for my own personal style, browsing through Pinterest & Instagram gave me inspirations on creating my art journal pages. I love looking at what others have beautifully created & as much as I'd like to simulate their awesome pages, my minimalist self always halts me before I overdo mine. Although sometimes, I think I have overdone some of my pages. And there were times I tore some pages just because I was so intimidated & didn't feel like it's coming well. On the other hand, I'm still hoping for more learning & self-exploration when it comes to art journal.

Because of this challenge, I finally put my Papers and Tschai carra journal into good use. It has been on my bookcase since I bought it last year. It's so lovely I'm hesitant to just write anything on it. Can't think of the best way to use it for until I participated in this #the100dayproject. Here are my entry from Day #001 – #048 which I used up 5 A6 journal notebooks/inserts.

Thank you to Pinterest & Instagram for the inspirations and a big thanks to my friends who liked my art journal pages. They also inspire me to continue on to my art journal journey.

Thank you for dropping by and I hope you enjoyed looking through my art journal pages.
Have a great week ahead.

#the100dayproject | 21-100

Here's the first to be ticked off my "catch-up list" since we arrived back here in UAE. Felt so good I finally got this done. And as soon as I get my Project Life backlog done, I will be doing my second #the100dayproject.

This was a project I started last April and had to put it on pause for a while but kept saving quotes online. Visit my previous post here. You can read about the project here which was initiated by Elle Luna and The Great Discontent.

Created an opening page using a white cardstock cut into 3x4, printed the title and stamped the document word & the banner outline. Punched two holes on each cards and the covers. For the covers, I re-purposed an old box from my previous purchase, cut two slightly larger than 3x4 and punched holes. Added the title at the front using my Dymo embossing label maker. Used a large metal ring binder.

I'm happy with how it turned out once everything was binded. Excited for my next #the100dayproject.

Thanks for dropping by.

P.S.
As I was arranging my cards to take photos, I noticed I had two same quotes. Oh well... Hahaha...

#the100dayproject | 1-20

21 days down & 79 days more to go...

I've been wanting to do this #the100dayproject & decided to keep it as simple as possible so I could still keep up with it even if we are in Philippines. I'm doing a collection of inspirational quotes which I will be printing on 3x4 journal cards or patterned papers, stamp the date & number sequence at the back, and the bind it into a mini book after 100 days.  Here's my first 20 of the #the100dayproject, my 100 days of quotes.

You can still participate if you like. You can still catch up or start from day 1 at your own pace. You can read here to learn more about this project which is initiated by Elle Luna & The Great Discontent

Hoping to keep this going until the 100th day & I already have a new #the100dayproject after this. Excited to start, in 12 weeks.

Will have to delay a week more on posting my weeks 2 & 3 of #myselfiescrapbook. Schedule got tight yesterday I wasn't able to go to the print shop for my photos. (Just letting you know.)

Have a wonderful week ahead.
